We had a wonderful family stay exploring Rock Cut State Park, where the kids enjoyed hiking and kayaking. The hotel offered a spacious room that fit our big family comfortably. The breakfast spread was delightful, and the staff made us feel like welcomed guests.

In my wife’s opinion, a play area for kids would be great.

Nice stay with comfy beds

The room was pretty spacious and separate bathroom, but washing my hands at 3am was tough in the dark. Loved having a kitchen! Staff was friendly and breakfast had a solid range. I missed using the hot tub, though, since I didn’t make a reservation. Definitely left feeling a bit stiff from the bed, too.

The King Studio Suite felt massive with a kitchen that had all the essentials. Breakfast had a good spread, with eggs and meats daily. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful, especially during our check-in. However, the noise from slamming doors woke us up too early. The workout area had decent machines but felt cramped. The dinner hour social was a nice touch, but the food variety could improve. Overall, a great stay but could be quieter.

It was just a fitting option for a temporary stay in Rockford with real value for money. The large refrigerator and ice-making freezer in the room made it easy to keep snacks and drinks cold. Be aware that the pool can be a bit chilly.
